GTA 6 Buildings Spotted in Georgia – Fans Discover Buildings

GTA 6 fans have spotted some interesting similarities between buildings shown in the game and real locations in a small Georgia town. The discovery has caught attention because the town is nearly 930 kilometres away from Miami, raising questions about how much of the real United States may have influenced Rockstar’s fictional world.

The two buildings appear in one of the 12 screenshots recently published by Edge magazine. Fans compared the images with real locations and noticed that both structures could be found in Gay, a small town in Meriwether County, Georgia.

One of the most noticeable discoveries is a red brick building that appears to be a bar in GTA 6. Its design looks remarkably similar to a real building in Gay, Georgia. The placement of the doors and windows is especially close, although there are a few differences in the wooden trim and the neighbouring structure.

Fans also noticed a possible connection involving Trotsman’s Supermarket, which can be seen in the background of the same screenshot. Its upper facade, decorative details, and rectangular recess look similar to a real building in the town.

However, the resemblance is not as exact as it is with the bar. The real supermarket appears to have a centrally positioned entrance, while the entrance shown in the game is further to the left.

Could GTA 6 Map Extend Into Georgia?

Gay is a small town in Meriwether County with a population of just 110 people, according to the 2020 US Census. It is approximately 930 kilometres (578 miles) from Miami in a straight line.

That distance has naturally led fans to wonder whether Rockstar could be including areas inspired by Georgia in GTA 6. It is an interesting possibility, but there is currently no confirmation that the game’s map actually reaches beyond Leonida or that Rockstar directly used these two buildings as references.

Rockstar often takes inspiration from real-world locations when creating its fictional environments. Similar architecture could simply be part of the studio’s effort to make Leonida feel like a believable American state, without recreating every location exactly.

Reddit Fans Discuss the Georgia Building Discovery

The discovery has also started a discussion on Reddit. Some fans believe that locations inspired by neighbouring states could be part of GTA 6’s wider world, while others think Rockstar may simply be borrowing architectural designs from different parts of the United States.

Both explanations remain possible. Until Rockstar reveals more about the map, these building comparisons should be treated as fan discoveries rather than proof of new playable locations.

Conclusion

The similarities between the GTA 6 screenshot and the buildings in Gay, Georgia, are certainly worth noticing. The red brick bar is particularly convincing, while Trotsman’s Supermarket shares several architectural details with its real-world counterpart.

Still, this does not confirm that GTA 6 will feature Georgia or expand beyond Leonida. For now, it is another interesting example of how closely fans are examining every screenshot Rockstar releases.
