GTA 6 Walmart Pre-Orders May Include a Mystery Bonus Bag for PS5 and Xbox
GTA 6 fans who plan to buy a physical copy may be getting an extra surprise from Walmart. A listing shared online reportedly mentions a “surprise and delight bag” for customers who pre-order the game physical edition on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
The listing does not explain what the bag contains, and Rockstar Games has not confirmed the bonus. Still, the discovery has sparked plenty of speculation, with some fans hoping for snacks while others are holding out for a Vice City-themed collectible.
What the Walmart Listing Reveals
The claim came from a screenshot shared by the deals-tracking account Nintendeal on X on November 2, 2026. The screenshot showed Walmart’s GTA 6 physical pre-order listing mentioning a “surprise and delight bag” for both console versions.
According to the listing, the bonus will be packed in a GMD (General Merchandise Delivery) bag and is available while supplies last. However, Walmart has not revealed what will be inside.
The listing appears to have been updated since the screenshot was shared, so the exact details may still change. For now, the reported bonus should be treated as unconfirmed.

When Will Walmart Ship the GTA 6 Pre-Orders?
The reported shipping date for Walmart’s physical pre-orders is November 12, 2026. That is also the expected start of GTA 6 pre-loading, giving players time to download the game before its scheduled launch.
GTA 6 is currently set to release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The mystery bag is reportedly available with physical pre-orders from Walmart, but buyers should check the retailer’s current listing for the latest terms and availability.

What Comes With the Physical Edition?
The mystery bag is separate from the contents already listed for the standard physical edition. The game launch physical version is reportedly a code-in-a-box release, meaning it contains a digital download code rather than a game disc.
Here’s what has been reported so far:
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Platforms | PS5 and Xbox Series X|S |
| Listed price | $79.99 |
| Physical disc | Not included; the box reportedly contains a download code |
| Digital bonus | Vintage Vice City Pack |
| Walmart mystery bag | Reported, but contents unconfirmed |
| Expected shipping | November 12, 2026 |
| Game release | November 19, 2026 |
The reported Walmart bag is not the same as the digital pre-order bonus, and there is no confirmed information that it contains a physical disc.

What Could Be Inside the Mystery Bag?
Walmart has used similar “surprise and delight” promotions in the past. During the Nintendo Switch 2 launch, some customers reportedly received small goodies such as a can of soda or Pringles.
That has led some GTA 6 fans to guess that the new bag could contain snacks. Others are hoping for something more connected to the game, such as Vice City-themed merchandise or a small collectible.
A physical map is another popular theory, especially after a separate GameStop listing reportedly hinted at a possible map bonus. However, neither the Walmart bag nor the GameStop map has been officially detailed, so neither should be treated as confirmed.

Is the Walmart Bonus an Official Rockstar Promotion?
That remains unclear. Rockstar Games has not publicly confirmed the Walmart mystery bag, and the available listing details do not establish whether it is an official Rockstar tie-in or a promotion arranged by Walmart.
For now, the safest conclusion is that Walmart’s physical GTA 6 pre-orders reportedly include a mystery bonus, but its contents and exact terms have not been confirmed.

Conclusion
The reported “surprise and delight bag” gives Walmart’s GTA 6 physical pre-orders an extra talking point, particularly for players who want something tangible alongside the digital download code.
Whether it turns out to be snacks, a small collectible, or something connected to Vice City, buyers will likely have to wait until shipments begin on November 12 to find out. Until Walmart or Rockstar shares more details, the mystery bag remains an interesting but unconfirmed pre-order bonus.
