Introduced in the game’s first trailer, Lucia quickly became one of the most talked-about characters thanks to her confident personality and mysterious past.
Before arriving in Leonida, Lucia spent part of her life in Liberty City, where her father taught her how to defend herself from an early age. That toughness stayed with her as she grew older, but trying to protect her family eventually led to her imprisonment at Leonida Penitentiary. By the beginning of GTA VI, she’s released and determined to build a better future instead of repeating the mistakes that landed her behind bars.
Lucia story is closely connected to Jason Duval, with the two working together throughout the game. Rather than chasing quick wins, Lucia appears focused on changing her life for good, although surviving in Leonida criminal world may prove far more difficult than she expects.
Jason Dual

Growing up surrounded by criminals and small-time scams, Jason eventually joined the Army in hopes of leaving that lifestyle behind. However, after returning home, he found himself working for drug smugglers in the Leonida Keys instead.
He now carries out jobs for Brian Heder, who allows Jason to stay at one of his properties in exchange for helping with his illegal operations. Jason closest friend, Cal Hampton, is also involved in this side of his life.

Brian Heder
Jason criminal work largely revolves around Brian Heder, one of the most experienced drug smugglers in the Leonida Keys. Rather than carrying out dangerous jobs himself, Brian now runs most of his operations through trusted associates while managing Brian Boat Works & Marina, which serves as the center of his business.
Brian allows Jason to live rent-free at one of his properties in exchange for helping with local smuggling operations and other illegal jobs.
Cal Hampton also works alongside them, making Brian an important connection between several of GTA VI main characters. Although he prefers to stay behind the scenes, His influence over the groups activities suggests he’ll play a key role throughout the story.
Brian is also known for his long career in Leonida criminal world and currently lives with his third wife, Lori. His experience, contacts, and leadership make him one of the most established figures in the region underground network.
Boobie Ike
While Brian Heder represents Leonida long-established smuggling network, Boobie Ike has built his influence in a very different way. Today, Boobie owns several businesses, including Jack of Hearts, a popular strip club, Only Raw Records, and multiple real estate investments. Real Dimez first gained attention after releasing a successful track with local rapper DWNPLY, giving them a taste of success.
However, after several years and a number of setbacks, they are now working with Dre’Quan Priest and Boobie Ike to relaunch their careers under Only Raw Records. Both artists are determined to prove that their early success was only the beginning.

Stefanie
The first new face players meet in GTA VI debut trailer isn’t a criminal at all.
Instead, it’s Stefanie, an employee of the Leonida Department of Corrections who appears to work as Lucia’s correctional social worker during her time in prison.
Stefanie is introduced in the opening moments of the first trailer as she speaks with Lucia inside the correctional facility, making her the first character heard in GTA VI official marketing. Although Rockstar hasn’t shared many details about her, the nameplate on her desk confirms her identity.
At the moment, Stefanie role in the overall story remains unknown. However, her early interaction with Lucia suggests she plays a part in the opening chapter of the game before the events move beyond Leonida Penitentiary.
Rudi
Another character who briefly appears in GTA VI first trailer is Rudi, a man featured in one of the game’s in-universe social media clips.
The short video shows him driving a green Bravado pickup truck at high speed while climbing out of the driver’s seat, with what appears to be an explosion reflected in the vehicle side mirror.
The clip is shared by the fictional user YoMammazJammer, whose post reads, “RIP Rudi – C U in heaven, cuz.” Although Rockstar hasn’t confirmed what happened after the stunt, the message has led many fans to believe it ended in disaster.
Lori Heder
Players also get a brief look at Lori Heder, Brian Heder third wife, who appears to be part of his life at Brian Boat Works & Marina in the Leonida Keys.
Although Rockstar has shared very little information about her, Lori is clearly connected to the same criminal world that surrounds Brian, Jason, and Cal.

Many players believe the character is a modern reimagining of Phil Cassidy because of his appearance, name, and role as a gun shop owner. At the same time, this version looks noticeably younger and still has both arms, making it difficult to directly connect him to the classic character.
Wyman
Wyman is closely tied to GTA VI vehicle culture. Rockstar describes him as an eccentric mechanic, classic car collector, and local fixer who has a passion for bringing forgotten vehicles back to life.
According to Rockstar, Wyman sends players on a hunt for abandoned classic cars and unfinished restoration projects scattered across Leonida. UnNamed Leonida Criminal
The scene features him being arrested by the Vice-Dale Police Department, while the fictional news channel Mega Noticias reports on the incident.
Hammer Lady
Another memorable face spotted in GTA VI first trailer is an unnamed woman whom fans have nicknamed “Hammer Lady.” She appears briefly at around the 0:58 mark during an in-game livestream, standing outside an apartment complex in Hamlet, Vice-Dale County, while holding a hammer in each hand.
Crocht Grab Guy
He appears in a short in-game social media clip, stepping out of an Imponte Ruiner before making an aggressive crotch-grabbing gesture toward someone recording him.
Gold Chain Guy (Unofficial Name)
He appears for only a brief moment, greeting another tattooed man with a handshake in what looks like a neighborhood somewhere in Leonida.
High Rollerz Mag Guy
The High Rollerz Guy is another unnamed character briefly seen during the High Rollerz Mag social media clip in GTA VI first trailer. He just make pose in camera.
Selfie Guy
He’s first spotted at a bar near Jason and Cal, before later taking a selfie with Jason and Lucia during a night out in Vice City.
Police Detective
A police detective is introduced in GTA VI second trailer, appearing alongside a team of officers during what looks like a law enforcement operation. He is later heard reminding his colleagues that they need to look out for one another, hinting that he’ll play an important role within Leonida’s police force.
Thrillbilly Mud Girl
The Thrillbilly Mud Girl makes a brief appearance in GTA VI first trailer during a lively mud park gathering. Covered in mud and wearing a stars-and-stripes bikini, she flashes the devil horns hand sign while celebrating with the crowd.
Nearly Naked Gardener
