GTA VI Real Dimez – Both Rappers with Big Hipe
“All my dimes in this club. Meet my twin, make it a dub.”
If you’ve spent any time watching the GTA VI trailers, you’ve probably already caught a glimpse of these two dancing on top of a car during a street takeover, phones out, energy through the roof, living exactly like people who know they’re being watched. That’s Real Dimez. And once you understand where they came from, that confidence makes a lot more sense.
IN GTA VI, Real Dimez is the name for the duo made up of Bae-Luxe and Roxy two friends from Leonida who turned street hustle into a genuine shot at a music career. They’re not a manufactured pop act or industry plants. They built this themselves, one viral video and one shakedown at a time.
How Real Dimez Got Started
Bae-Luxe and Roxy have known each other since high school, and honestly, that friendship is the whole foundation of everything they’ve built. They grew up together in Leonida, and from a young age, both of them had a natural instinct for hustling reading people, finding an angle, making something out of nothing.
Before there was any music, there was the street. The two of them started out running small-time shakedowns on local dealers, using nothing but charisma and nerve to get what they needed. It wasn’t glamorous, but it taught them something valuable how to work a room, how to read a threat, and how to turn a risky situation into a profitable one. Skills that, as it turns out, translate surprisingly well into the music industry.

The DWNPLY Breakthrough
Every rising act needs that one moment where things click, and for Real Dimez, that moment came with an early single alongside local Vice City rapper DWNPLY. The track took off, and suddenly two girls who’d been shaking down dealers for spare cash were being talked about as real artists.
That single didn’t turn them into overnight superstars, but it opened a door. It gave them a taste of what real success could look like, and from that point forward, everything they did the videos, the tracks, the constant social media grind was building toward getting back to that same level.

Signing With Only Raw Records
Here’s where their story connects directly into GTA VI wider criminal world. After five years of grinding and, by their own account, a whole lot of trouble along the way Real Dimez finally landed a deal with Only Raw Records, the label run by Dre’Quan Priest.
For Dre’Quan, signing Real Dimez isn’t just a business move it’s personal. Out of everything he’s built through Only Raw, the duo represents his best shot at finally landing a real hit. And for Bae-Luxe and Roxy, this deal is the second chance they’ve been chasing since that first single with DWNPLY.
It’s a partnership where everyone involved has something real riding on it. Dre’Quan needs a hit to legitimize his label. Real Dimez needs a hit to finally break through for good. Whether that lightning strikes twice for either of them is something GTA VI story will presumably answer.
Real Dimez and the City Girls Comparison
If Real Dimez feels familiar, that’s probably intentional. Fans have drawn a strong comparison between them and the real-life Miami hip-hop duo City Girls Yung Miami and JT.
The parallels go beyond just being a two-woman rap group. Both acts built their following through aggressive social media use long before mainstream success came knocking, and both leaned on a high-profile collaboration to break into the wider scene City Girls with Drake on In My Feelings, Real Dimez with DWNPLY on their breakout single. It’s a smart, grounded reference that fits perfectly with Rockstar’s tendency to build fictional characters around real cultural moments.
There’s even a neat little detail tying the two worlds together City Girls’ 2019 track Act Up actually plays on iFruit Radio in GTA V and GTA Online, so this isn’t the first time Rockstar has referenced that real-world duo in the GTA universe.

Their Dynamic Together
What makes Bae-Luxe and Roxy work as a pair isn’t just shared history it’s that they genuinely complement each other. Best friends since school, business partners by circumstance, and now artists trying to build something lasting together. Neither one seems to overshadow the other, this is a partnership built on mutual trust rather than one person carrying the act.
That kind of loyalty matters in a story like GTA VI, where everyone around Jason and Lucia seems to be hustling toward something. Real Dimez isn’t chasing crime for its own sake they’re using every skill they picked up on the street to build a way out, into music, into something that could actually last.
Conclusion
Real Dimez is proof that ambition in Leonida doesn’t always look like bank heists or drug empires. Sometimes it looks like two friends with a camera phone, a good verse, and the nerve to put themselves out there until someone finally notices.
Bae-Luxe and Roxy have already survived the hard part the years of hustling, the small wins, the setbacks in between. Now, signed to Only Raw Records and standing right at the edge of a real opportunity, all that’s left is seeing whether they can finally turn one more viral moment into the breakthrough they’ve been chasing since day one.
